If you have a furry friend at home, you’ve probably asked yourself: Will artificial grass survive my dog? Or even worse: Will my garden end up smelling like urine in the middle of August?

The short answer is YES, they are perfectly compatible. In fact, artificial grass is the best solution to end yellow patches on the lawn and muddy paw prints inside the house. But there are a few tricks you should know.

1. Is it safe for them? (Spoiler: They love it!)

Our turf models are 100% non-toxic. They don't require fertilizers, pesticides, or chemicals to stay green. Your pets can run, jump, and nap with total safety. Plus, since there is no soil, you can forget about the bugs and parasites that usually hide in natural grass.

2. The end of the "bathroom drama"

Artificial grass does not burn from the acidity of urine (goodbye yellow spots!).

  • For solids: Clean up exactly as you would on the street.

  • For liquids: The grass has an enormous drainage capacity. Urine passes through the holes in the backing and filters into the gravel base.

3. The secret against odors: Smart Cleaning

You don’t need to be a slave to cleaning, but if you have a dog, follow these two tips:

  1. Water every now and then: A quick hose-down is enough to wash away ammonia residue into the drainage system.

  2. Enzymatic cleaner: This is the star product. It doesn't just smell like freshly cut grass; its enzymes "eat" the bacteria that cause bad odors. It’s pure magic!

4. What if my dog tries to dig?

High-quality artificial grass is extremely durable. The fibers are woven to withstand scratches and the craziest zoomies. Just make sure the edges are well-secured with pegs or adhesive so they don't find a "gap" to start pulling from.

Limpieza y refrescar

Tip for dog owners: Artificial grass gets warmer than natural grass under intense sun. On very hot days, give it a 2-minute rinse before letting your dog out to play; it will drop the temperature instantly, and they will thank you for it.
